We are the Foundation
for Adaptive Fitness

Creating access, resources, and community for neurodivergent athletes and the teams who move them forward.

What We Do

Neurodivergent Athletes

Access:
The Athlete Fund

Scholarships that cover functional fitness coaching for neurodivergent athletes whose families can't afford it and whose funding sources don't yet, no longer, or only partially cover it. Learn More & Donate

Resources: Coach & Trainer Development

Access is limited by how many qualified coaches exist, so we grow the field itself. We fund training, certification, and mentorship for coaches and trainers in neurodivergent-affirming functional fitness, multiplying every dollar into a coach who serves athletes for years.

Community: Building Through Partnership

Rapid response teams distributed hygiene kits, clean water, and temporary shelter just 48 hours after severe flooding hit the coastal region.

The Puzzle Piece Athletics Foundation removes the barriers between neurodivergent athletes and adaptive fitness. We fund access, develop coaches, and build community — so no athlete's potential is decided by a price tag or a waitlist.

Our Story

Puzzle Piece Athletics Foundation was founded by Chad Hooker, who built Puzzle Piece Athletics serving neurodivergent athletes across California and saw the same problem every day: the athletes who needed this work most were the ones who couldn't access it.

The Foundation exists to solve that problem directly. Our roots inside the system mean we know exactly where the gaps are, and exactly what it takes to close them.
